OUR HAPPY HISTORY
1980: CREATION
Pacific Islands Club Guam was created in October 1980 on land leased next door to our present site in Tumon Bay. Originally a two-story resort offering 120 rooms, tennis courts, pools, a theater, dining room and beach, it proved to be popular vacation spot for visitors
1986: TRANSFORMATION
The main reception building which included the Front Office area, Lobby, Duty Free Shop, Bistro Restaurant, Administration offices, Boutiki, Waterpark and Skylight Restaurant
1989: EXPANSION
An additional 219 rooms were built, now known as Oceana A
1991: ADDITION
Oceana B, our 32-story tower with 313 rooms was completed along with the expansion of the waterpark and additional tennis courts. Other additions included racquetball, squash and basketball courts, the Aba Dabba Disco, swim-thru aquarium, game and windsurfing pools
2006: RENOVATION
The renovation of the Lobby and Lower Lobby levels, along with the addition of the Siheky Splash Pool and St. Laguna Wedding Complex
2012: EXTENSION
The addition of Rock ‘N Roll Noodle, a Guest Service Center and the Royal Tower Customer Service Center, as well as the renovation and expansion of the Kids Club
2016 – PRESENT: CONTINUATION
PIC continues to grow with the opening of the Fitness Center, PIC Cabanas, and Ramen House Hokkaido restaurant, the Skylight Restaurant expansion, additional SEA activities and attractions, and many new guest package offerings to include Country Club of the Pacific Golf
