SUMMARY:
Responsible for promoting guest satisfaction in all Sports, Entertainment and Activities areas on the PIC property. Reliable attendance is an essential function of the job. PIC cannot accommodate unpredictable or sporadic absenteeism, unless it is covered by federal/state law.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES and other duties may be assigned.
Instructs and/or participates in various sports and activities for guests at the resort.
Monitors the safety of all PIC guests and appropriate use of PIC equipment and facilities.
Leads and organizes group games, sports lessons, and special activities. Recruit guests when needed.
Provides first aid assistance to consenting guests when needed.
Provides guests with personable service.
Participates in nightly activities and shows.
Performs minor maintenance and cleaning of facilities on a routine basis and when necessary to ensure cleanliness of property.
Promotes team goals and takes responsibility for ensuring high level of guest interaction and satisfaction. Show a positive attitude during all guest interactions.
Implements variety of activities to entertain guests.
Follows instructions given by Captains, Supervisors and Managers.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

Lifeguard certification required
Performing skills (dancing, acting, speaking in front of large crowds, dressing in costumes to perform.

LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Ability to read, write, and speak English.
Ability to speak basic Japanese, Korean, Russian, or Chinese is a plus and language differential is provided upon successful passing of language test.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
A clubmate must be able to perform all physical tasks required to perform the daily operations, activities, maintenance, and other assigned tasks as instructed by his/her captain, supervisor, or manager. He/she must be able to participate in special activities and operations of any SEA area for the duration of a scheduled shift. A clubmate must be capable of performing daily duties in every area as assigned in opening, closing, keeping busy duties, and any other tasks he/she is assigned. These duties vary, but do include lifting, pushing, and carrying large items (50 lbs.), sitting or standing for long periods of time in hot and humid environments, and participation in active sports and physical competitions. Some special activities may require a high level of enthusiasm and energetic interaction. All Clubmates must be able to engage in such activities in such a manner.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
The work environment of a Clubmate varies depending on weather, occupancy, special assignments and projects. He/she may be subject to working in extreme weather conditions – may be hot, humid, windy, or rainy. The work load will vary with changing occupancies, and clubmates must be able to conduct themselves in a professional and positive manner under pressure. Regular maintenance of the SEA areas requires some exposure to hazardous chemicals. This position may require use of personal protective equipment when necessary.
